My Background

I’m Madison Von Casper, a digital artist and designer based in Shreveport–Bossier, Louisiana. My work moves between fine art, digital media, and community-focused visual storytelling. I’m drawn to the way images carry memory, identity, and atmosphere—and how design can bridge personal experience with public space.

I earned my Bachelor of Digital Arts from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2025, after studying fine arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Kansas City Art Institute, where I was awarded merit scholarships at both institutions. That range of training shaped the way I work today: blending traditional art practices with contemporary digital processes, always with an eye for narrative and emotional clarity.

My practice has taken me from studio environments to city streets. As a holiday window artist in the Shreveport–Bossier area, I create seasonal installations that brighten local businesses and connect art with everyday life. I also have years of experience in content creation, social media direction, and arts marketing—developing videos, graphics, and campaigns for organizations including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 408 Studio Fabrication, Art Garden KC, and community-based nonprofits.

My artwork has been featured in exhibitions across Louisiana, Chicago, and Kansas City, and I’ve explored topics of multiplicity and personal storytelling in my published writing, Seeking Plural Narratives. No matter the medium, my focus stays rooted in visual clarity, emotional resonance, and creating work that feels alive in both digital and physical spaces.
